May we offer you a big hello from the Dakota PTA. Below you will find information about our group and what we do to support the students and staff at Dakota Area C ommunity School. We encourage you to become involved. If you have any questions about PTA or how you might lend assistance, please do not hesitate in contacting any of our officers or members.

What is the Dakota PTA?

The Dakota PTA is a group of parents, teachers, and staff members that are committed to the goal of making DACS a great school for students. As a member of the National Parent Teacher Association, the Dakota PTA provides parents and families with a voice in the educational process, while providing tools for parents to help their children be successful students.

What do we do?

The Dakota PTA meets on the 3rd Tuesday of every month to discuss classroom or school needs, to plan upcoming events and to find out information relating to school issues. We do one major fundraiser at the beginning of the school year and a Harvest Sale fundraiser in October.

The PTA also raises funds for DACS through the following programs:

Box Tops for Education

Kwik Trip and Credit Card School Designation Programs
